Few Questions

  • Hello.
    I really like this theme so far.

    I have 3 questions.

    1. I want Tags to be appeared next to categories on top of the post title instead of bottom of the blog post.

    2. I would like to add background to blockquote. And a up-side-down quotation mark at the bottom right too.

    3. I do not want to affect my H tag decal to Related Post (h3&h4) on the bottom of the blog post.

    Im sorry for my poor English.
    I hope you can understand.

    Thank you.

    Thank you for loving our item.

    1/ Unfortunately, currently this theme doesn’t support this feature.

    2/ To do that, please add more this code to Customize > Custom CSS:

    .post-entry blockquote{ padding: 10px 56px 10px 10px; background: #f5f5f5; }
    .post-entry blockquote:before{ left: auto; right: 10px; top: auto; transform: rotate(180deg); -webkit-transform: rotate(180deg); bottom: 10px; }

    3/ I don’t clearly this question, can you tell me more about that?

    Best Regards,

    Thank you for reply.

    About Question #3.

    I set custom CSS for my H2, H3, and H4 for Headings in the post.

    like this.
    .post-entry h2 {
    font-size: 150%;
    padding: .75em .75em;
    margin: 1.5em -1.8em 1em -1.8em;
    border-top: 2px dashed #313131;
    .post-entry h3 {
    padding-bottom: .5em;
    border-bottom: 3px double #313131;
    .post-entry h4 {
    padding: .25em 0 .25em .75em;
    border-left: 2px solid #313131;

    Those CSS code also affect to “Related Posts” and the title of Related post on the bottom of the blog post.

    This is the pic of Related Post section of blog post.

    I hope this will help

    About Question #2

    I add those code that you teach me to CSS.
    and its not exactly that I wanted..

    .post-entry blockquote {
    padding: 10px 56px 10px 10px;
    background: #f5f5f5;
    .post-entry blockquote:before {
    left: auto;
    right: 10px;
    top: auto;
    transform: rotate(180deg);
    -webkit-transform: rotate(180deg);
    bottom: 10px;

    1/ Can you show me your site url to I can take a look about your heading?

    2/ I don’t understand it, do you want to make quote icon move up and content move right a bit?

    Best Regards,

    1. Here you are.

    I use Typography post (saved as Draft) to check.
    so, On my blog there are NO related post because there are not enough posts.

    2. Yes. I want make quote icon on both upper left and bottom right. And content move right a bit so the quote icon does not overlay the content.

    Best Regards,

    Best Regards,

    1. I made it visible. Password is “12345678”

    2. Thank you so much. It worked !!!

    I think you’re missing a div or another elements.
    Please cut your content and paste it to notepad file, after that, copy again from notepad and paste it to your editor.
    By default, the heading from your content doesn’t affect with heading tag from related posts.

    Best Regards,

    Sorry I dont understand at all.

    I did cut the content and pasted to notepad(txt), and then copy again from the notepad, and pasted to WP post.

    Nothing changes.

    I thought the problem happens because I use Markdown to write.

    So, I made new post without using heading tag by WP dashboard on web browser.
    Still has same problem.

    If so, please try deactivate all plugins not required with this theme and try again.
    After it work, let’s enable each plugin to check the plugin caused this issue.

    Best Regards,

    well..I turned off ALL Plugins. Still the same.

    I found what caused it !!

    It was my SNS share button.

    BUT No idea how to fix.

    I insert SNS.php.

    <?php endif; /* End check if not move title bellow featured image */ ?>
    	<div class="post-entry">
    		<div class="inner-post-entry">
    			<?php the_content(); ?>
    			<?php wp_link_pages(); ?>
    <?php get_template_part( 'sns' ); ?>
    			<?php if ( ! get_theme_mod( 'penci_post_tags' ) && has_tag() ) : ?>
    				<?php if ( is_single() ) : ?>
